Policemen in Niger State have finally caught up with a 2-man gang of kidnappers terrorizing residents of Minna in the state.  


Two alleged kidnappers identified as Abraham Jatto and Idowu Mafe who specialize in kidnapping undergraduates and demanding for ransom from their parents, have been arrested at their hideout in Sauka Kahuta area of Minna in Niger State. 
The suspects often dispose their victims of their valuables such as laptops, handsets, jewelries and money before forcefully detaining them. The two were alleged to have earlier kidnapped Agbo Sylvanus, a 500 level student of Mathematics Dept. FUT and Peter Adawn a 400 level student of same university.
Other people who have fallen victim to their traps include Esther Okwe, a 500 level student of Estate Management Dept, Federal University of Technology Minna and forced to part with N500,000 from her parents before she gained her freedom.
Policemen in the state also recovered a Honda Accord vehicle used by the kidnappers to operate.
