Some officials of the Federal Road Safety officials FRSC were disgraced in Nnewi, Anambra state on Friday, April 14 by an angry mob over allegations of bribery.
Modesty Vitus who was at the scene of the incident said that the officials were beaten and humiliated, as they ran away leaving two of their colleagues behind at the mercy of the mob.
According to Vitus, the officials had asked a cyclist to give them bribe but he refused. As he protested, a mob gathered and before the officials could escape, the angry mob descended on him.
