We had reported earlier that the Sector Commander of the Rivers State Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Andrew A. Kumapayi, was seen in photos making rounds on social media, using a pair of scissors to cut-off the hair of some female officials for allegedly breaching the corp's dress code.
The incident reportedly happened during a routine parade exercise when Kumapayi went round to inspect his officers and men. He also reportedly inspected their fingernails and hair, among other things.

Just as the shocking photos went viral on social media platforms, the Federal Road Safety Corps, has now suspended its sector commander in Rivers State, Ayodele Kumapayi, for cutting female officers hair with scissors.
The FRSC spokesperson, Bisi Kazeem, said in a text message to Premium Times on Tuesday morning that other officers who allegedly participated in that act have been suspended alongside Kumapayi.
He said the sector commander accused the female marshals of carrying long hairdo, adding that the Corps Marshal of the FRSC, Boboye Oyeyemi, ordered the errant officers immediate suspension pending investigation into the incident.
