An unidentified man has reportedly plunged into the Lagos lagoon from the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge.
The Nation reports that the incident which occurred on Friday, October 20, made officials of the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA), Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Marine Police and other stakeholders rush to the scene to rescue the victim.
The incident was also confirmed by several Twitter users:
As at the time of publishing this report there was no confirmation as to whether the victim had been rescued by the officials.
